The Team

A bronze medalist at the World Pastry Queen Championship 2023, Chef Eureka runs the business along with her sister and Managing Director of Sivako, Nikita Araujo, and Suzann Homan, who adds her own touch to everything they do. Together with a team of talented chefs, this tight-knit crew are dedicated to bringing the world desserts made from the highest quality ingredients. From the first whisk

‘Sivako’ was something Chef Eureka heard the Na’vi people say while watching the movie ‘Avatar’. It means ‘rise to the challenge’, and the chef has done exactly that. “French pastry is a relatively new concept to the Indian market. So, we knew our plan for the Sivako menu and the creativity we wanted to bring was going to be a challenge; nevertheless we persisted,” she says.

Born in Mumbai and brought up in Goa since the age of five, Chef Eureka says Sivako has been her ride-or-die for the past few years. But it was only during the COVID lockdown that the sister duo found solace in baking. “This experience ignited a creative spark within me, prompting me to share my creations with others. Nikita’s support and our shared baking adventures were instrumental in helping me realise this dream,” Chef Eureka asserts.

For her, living the Sivako dream has been like finally finding her “groove on the dance floor after years of awkward shuffling”. She adds, “It’s all about having this rad platform where I can let loose and showcase my creativity without any limits. I think of it as my little corner of the universe where I get to be the captain of my ship, charting new courses and exploring uncharted territories of my imagination.”
